Nations Cup

Badminton Netherlands, in collaboration with Sportworx, is organizing the first international AirBadminton country tournament in the world, the Nightwatch Nations Cup. This unique sporting event will take place on Sunday, August 29, 2021 in the King of the Court stadium on Jaarbeursplein in Utrecht. On this day, the Dutch AirBadminton team will compete against the national teams of Belgium, Germany and France for the Nightwatch Nations Cup 2021.

The stadium doors will open at 10.30am. The opening ceremony of this dazzling event will take place at 11 a.m. The 1st round starts at 11:30 am and the finals will start at 3:00 pm. We close around 6:00 PM with the award ceremony.

The tournament is played according to the team relay system. This means that a team must consist of a minimum of two men and two women, and a maximum of four men and four women per team. Each match, called Tie, will consist of five matches; a women’s double; a men’s doubles, a mixed doubles; two triples. The team that reaches 100 points first, is the winner.
